Well, Bob L., had his first neuro visit today. That nice TeddyBear of a doc gave him 10-40mg. oxycontin to relieve pain for the first 3 days. What a guy. Because of Bob's MI, he did say that our tx. options are limited, which we knew.
He has Bob starting a Prednisone regimen and increased his Verapamil from 240 once a day to 360 taken in 3 doses daily. Yippee! He knew what to do! He must have been sneaking in to these boards for advice lol.
Oxygen was also prescribed but we have to wait one more day for a referral from the primary. Dontcha just love those HMO's?
And Bob, well, he is relieved but still somewhat skeptical. Why not eh? It's been since the week before Christmas. Oh, having to quit smoking and drinking coffee might have something to do with it too lol. Xanax is his friend hehe.
The physicians assistant, well.....she's pregnant and must be estrogen dominant, but we put up with her anyway.
These boards probably, no...they did save my husband's life and I want to thank all of you, mostly Nancy!!! I know you all understand how grateful we are.
