WOW..i can believe i found this site. just by luck i thought i'd type in clusterheadaches.com.
Anyway...im A 22 year old male i live in England..ive had these headaches since i was 16.i think it started when i broke my nose and i started to get a sharpe pain at the point where i broke it.and i used to get it every day for about 5-10 minutes once or twice a day.I used to put ice on my nose and squeeze it with my fingers to stop the pain.
A year later..the pain also move to my cheek bone and to my temple.
At this time i had no idea what it was..i was convinced it was because i didnt eat...beacause it used to occure between 9am and 11am and i never used to eat breakfast.
I decide to go to a doctor ..he sent me to a specialist and he diagnosed cluster headaches.
He gave me imigan injections, just to try...but after 5 minutes it made me feel all funny. So i got Verepimil instead.
i took it for a while but stopped cause it made my heart beat faster which was scary.
i decide to stop taking it eat healthy and alot more so i ate 5-6 meals a day and i also started going to the gym 3 times a week,anyway. it actually work my headaches decreased maybe 3 times a week ,sometimes if go a week with no pain if i was lucky.
But now things have changed..i stop working out mainly due to my workload at school..and im eating less again.And now the everyday pain has come back.and its more painful....any way thats just my story
