From others that have undergone gamma knife surgery and reported back, it rarely seems to work. The sufferer is usually left with a face that only half works (as if they'd had a stroke) and the headaches are no better. I understand why you'd want to try this since you have been chronic for 4 years. Now for the good news...
There is a treatment that is safe, non toxic, inexpensive and according to the feedback on this board statistically it is the most effective treatment out there. It isn't a cure, but it can (provided it is used correctly) lead to lengthy and completely PF remissions.
The bad news is it's illegal. Now I figure that if you are prepared to cut off your own arm (also illegal incidentally unless you seek permission from the relevant authorities and have the work conducted by a registered surgeon), then breaking the law shouldn't trouble you too much anyway. I mean this particular law was not written with CH in mind. I would go so far as to guess that the people who wrote this particular law would not have done so had they suffered from CH.
The other bad news is that it take a couple of months of minor effort on your part. Hey you would have time to try it while you are waiting for the gamma knife surgery. What have you got to lose (apart from your pain)?
