...from those who know. My take on flow rate is crank up the regulator to the point that it keeps your mask bag inflated. That is your maximum lung capacity. That rate could be 7 lpm for a small person or up to 12 for, let's say, a mule. The therapeutic value is highest when the lungs are kept saturated with 100% oxygen, so that the transfer from the lungs into the blood stream is maximum. Start woofing the O2 at your first symptom of an impending attack, and stay on it for five minutes after the pain subsides. Oh, and try not to smoke while you have the mask on.
