have not posted in awhile although have been reading and educating myself for this neuro visit. I have waited 6 months to see this guy so had some high expectations. As I described my symptoms (classic CH btw) he told me since I was female, and had photosensitvity, it had to be migraines, and not CH's. Not that I was wanting CH's...just a correct diagnosis.
Anyhow something he told me was new to me...probably old news to most of you regulars but thought I would post it and see what you all think. Please don't hesitate to mail me if you like. He has me gradually working up to taking 400 mg of vitamin B2 (100 mg vit C added)as well as feverfew. Now I have tried FF in the past with no result but with the B2 I have been decreased in the frequency of actual headaches already on the first week from almost daily to one headache this last week! Now I have shadows every day but no bone-crushing pains. Just hoping it's not a fluke...or wishful thinking thats happening here. I have had CH's for 10 years and hav tried many complicated regimes including the dreaded narcotic on a daily basis...I would be upset if it was this simple all along for me!!! LOL Anyhow just wanted to share my experience.
