Sorry to hear about the ch. I've been on amytrip since November. I'm using it to treat my current attacks. I took it during my previous two attacks and it seemed to work then but this time nothing. I also went to a neuro just last week and he gave me a 12 day course of prednesone to take with the 50mg of amitrip. Down to my last couple of days with the pred but still taking the amitrip. To be honest, I'm not sure that the amitrip ever worked, could be that by the time I got around to taking it, I was at the end of the cycle anyway. If it doesn't work for you, just ask anybody on this board what they would recommend. I think everyone has taken just about everything there is to think about. Only problem is, not everything works for everybody. Good luck. PF.
