When it began I was missdiagnosed, the doctor gave me an ill leave for all the period it lasted that year. Three months. When I got back I found a coleague in my place and a new place for me that was hell on earth. It was only a matter of time to leave. Shortly afterwards, I was correctly diagnosed by another doctor and this time I promised myself that life was going to be as usual. (if you can call usual to suffer CH!) anyway, my lifesaver is the imitrex injections, is like the house keys... never go out without it. Easy and fast, at the first glance of a comming attack, I shot myself half a dose (this extends the shots available from 2 to 4 par each 24 hours period). Those 3 mgs of imitrex is one of the magic moments of modern science, as makes you pass from an unbearable pain to normality in just a few (4-6) minutes. Take your imitrex injectables with you and if a CH comes, ask for a toilet.
It is sad to wellcome someone to this club, but on other hand, this web is heaven. you've come to the best place in the world to learn how to live with CH's!.
take care!
