I believe CH is a genetic, physical ailment.
Smells may trigger headaches while you are in an active cluster. Maybe by stimulating the olfactor nerve (after all we know the schnoz is involved by the way it runs or stuffs up during a headache). But the cause of CH is much more complicated than chemical sensitivity.
