Our online gaming group uses a board from http://www.phpbb.com/. It allows registration and passwords which keeps from having people with duplicate names. It also provides a private messaging service and let's you publicize your ICQ or other IM contact info etc. The ability to set up polls in a post is also available. It's a fantastic board and extremely fast too. I think it would be a great addition to the site.
