Jack,
This is not the first time I have heard someone say only take it while in cycle. I have also heard of other people who take it all the time. I am one of those people. I have been taking it for 9 months and have been pain free. I continue to take it because I still get regular shadows, at least a few a week. I definitly do not want it to lose its effectiveness how pain killers also did. My ch has been so unpredictable the last couple of years that I have no idea when I will be due for a cycle. The shadows have been slightly worse this week but I would like to get off the meds. How common is it for Verapimil to lose effectiveness? Also, correct me if I'm wrong, doesn't it take about a week for it to kick back in when you go on it?
