Got back from the dr. today. He says I definitly have CH. The first note I posted said I had not been officially diagnosised with CH. He confirmed it today. He tells me there are no sure fire cures for CH and that once you get them you will suffer from them for the rest of your life. You may go months or even years without having one but they will, for sure, come back. This scares me worse than if he had told me I had a tumor or something that was definite. I saw on this web site that a lot of CH suffers use O2. I asked him about that and he said that was a drastic measure to take. He wanted me to take a big dose,intevieniously, of Prednizone. Since I had a bad experiance with it once before I asked him if there was any other meds I could take. He already had me on Depekote, and Zomig. The Imitrex didn't seem to help. He doubled my dosage of the Depekote and gave me some meds for sleep and pain. He says he will give me 2 weeks to see if the things get better. If not I will take the Prednizone.
I am in the 4th week of this hell and he says that meant , hopefully this cycle was on it's way out. But, again, IT WILL COME BACK. Don't know when or for how long but it will.
