First of all, you guys got way off of the subject, but I know how you are. Secondly, I do have clusters. I am a card carrying member of OUCH and have been to a convention of cluster heads. I don't know about the term "medicated" and how it applies. I take verap every day and when I get a headache, I kill it with Maxalt or Imitrex. I haven't gone 14 days without verap, but have gone 14 days without Maxalt or Imitrex. I have done shrooms twice, and after doing them, my headaches decreased in severity and abundance. I have shadows most of the time, even if I haven't had a headache in 20 to 30 days.

So, does taking verapamil every day count as being "medicated", or is having to take the Maxalt, etc. being medicated. Shrooms are good medicine, but I don't do them very often.

I guess still have to ask the question. Am I chronic or episodic?
