cluster headaches?

For about 2 or 3 months I've been getting these weird pains in one side of my head, but they only last for about 5 or 10 seconds. My doctor diagnosed it as cluster headaches, but I was looking at the info on this site and it said that the headaches usually last for 30 mins to 2 hours. Does anyone else have real short headaches like me.....could it be something else?
