about the drivers in Boston! :^)
Linda H is right about using cabs in Vegas. Downtown (Fremont Street) is only about 5 miles from the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd). Cab drivers know all the back ways to avoid traffic and they drop you off at the front door. Finding parking at the Strip hotels can be a nightmare. The highrise parking garages are so big that you may have to walk a half mile just to get inside the casino.
The Strip is only 4 miles long and you can probably walk it faster than you can drive it.
One of the best ways to see the lights on the Strip is to rent a limo, about 40 - 50 bucks an hour. Get one with a sun (or moon) roof and enjoy the sights. I think some of the CH'ers at the first OUCH convention did that and had a great ride.
One more thing........the billion dollar casinos weren't built with the idea of customers winning. To save yourself trouble and grief you can just send me the money you were going to spend in Vegas and I'll take care of the rest. LOL.
