Jack mine comes before my cluster, its a dull pressure just enough to annoy me and make me feel kind of bad. The twinge tahat means its time for my imitrex, with luck I can either beat the cluster before it hits or abort it fast by using my imitrex at the twinge.
After my cluster I have a ache but I call that the after effect. I think a shadow is like a warning. To let ya know he is there just before he hits.
I may be wrong! I am sorry you are in cycle!
