I've visited here sporadically over the past 3 years and watched the storms, the laughter, the tears, the total nastiness and companionship on this same site.
I think it's totally normal and human and that's what makes it like a family, because where do you get a family that do not fight and tease but stand together against the world, when it comes to one of their own.
It's 3am in the morning in my little coastal town of Richards Bay. We are in the middle of summer.
We never see snow. Still we decorate our shop windows with tinsel, father christmasses in big red winter out fits, we put fake snow on our shop fronts and christmas trees while we wear bikini tops with baggies and slip-slops and sun hats.
I own a 24hr bar where all the fishermen come to get cold beer and the holiday makers try to get out of the sun.
