Hi, my brother has been getting cluster headaches for the last 6-7 years. He's currently 26 and everythime he feels one coming on he takes a hot shower. I mean hot if you think your eye is red when you have a headache you should see him when he gets out of the shower.
Now he has been to many doctors and tried all kinds of prescriptions and he says the hot shower works the best. I figure it must because he talks at least 2-3 showers a day. Then again, he's not big on taking prescriptions.
Now some info for me.... Since if you go to a doctor, they will give their diagnosis and prescribe something. My brother prefers to strech and then take a hot shower or take a hot shower then stretch.
His diet really isn't the greatest, it mostly consists of 1-2 pots of coffee, red meat, some bread, pack of cigarettes. Any suggestions regarding nutrition and cluster headaches are welcome.
Also, for those of you who have cluster headaches, any idea on how you just started getting them? How old, how often. I'm just curious and I'm sure he is as well.
