My clinic has a large headache department and my neuro says he has many cluster patients, even my physical therapist told me she knows of many people with clusters. My first asshole neuro never heard of these headaches, thought I was some kind of nut and sent me to the nut department where they tried to load me up with psychotropic drugs, hell I was a fighter. But wonder if there are CH sufferers penned up in some loony bin pumped up on drugs that were also misdiagnosed.
All I needed was some O2 and a tad of prednisone but went through hell for years screwing around with these professional medical misfits lugging around bottles of useless prescriptions. Doctor knows best kind of crap. How many came on this board just to verify that even such a headache condition exists? Thinking that they were nut cases. I know of a least ten in a town of 20,000 so that makes it one out of 2,000, but feel there are a lot more sufferers.
