I didn't mean that, it was just an attention getter but it will draw attention to what I have to say.
The genetic tendency for clusters is quite strong.
Many studies have demonstrated this.
Since Clusters are very rare, the chance for anyone getting them,
be it from the general population
or
from a family with a cluster history
is quite small
It goes something like this:
If the incidence in the general population is
for arguments sake
1 in every 10,000 people
than
the incidence of any individual getting clusters
who comes from a family with a cluster history might be 1 in 1,0000
A ten fold increased risk.
This is the kind of thing that would not show up in anecdotes.
Very few of us with clusters can point to a relative who also had them - this is because they are VERY freaking rare.
But make no mistake about it - there is a strong statistical case to be made for a genetic component.
So what does this all mean.
It is further evidence that we just can't help it!! :-)
We was born this way!!! :-)
