In the very old literature (50+ years, when every clusterhead was a heavy drinker with a ruddy face) a connection was construed between head injury and CH, but a latency period of 8 to 10 years as allowed for. But you would have a hard time to find somebody who didn't have a blow of some kind or other on the head in the last 10 years. In more recent times there is no more mention of such a correlation.
On the message board, a few have posted that their CH started shortly after an accident. It could be that a head injury can precipitate a latent disposition for CH, but if the delay is longer than a couple of month, I doubt of a correlation.
In my case CH started 3 month after an 8-hour surgery; could be they augmented the narcosis with the cave man method, LOL.
