All-
I received the following email from a friend who's daughter has a brain injury from an auto accident. Her daughter has been having daily headaches, and is considering suicide to end them. I had her take the cluster quiz. She has all of the typical cluster sysptoms... except, the pain is on top of her head (see description below). Any ideas?
"Thanks for your reply. Amanda took the test and it indicated she isn't having "cluster" headaches. Her headaches are almost always across the top of her head - like picture a rectangular ice-pack placed directly on top of the head that covers both sides - that's almost always the location. When it's bad, both eyes look droopy to me, like at half-mast. She doesn't match the symptoms for migraines, either. No pain medication seems to be working. Any further ideas or web-sites greatly appreciated."
