Despite the fruitless experiences reported by some members...if you get the right acupuncturist, you'll get the relief.
I've had two different practitioners. The first one ended my cycle in one treatment!
She knew more about CHs than even my neurologists.
That was seven years ago.
The second (a year and a half ago) took seven tries and did little good.
She didn't use the same points as the first, even though I tried to describe them to her. And she was an actual Chinese doctor, while the first was an old French lady. But...the French had the answer to Cluster Headaches. Apparently, Chinese do not suffer from them as much as Caucasians. At least, they aren't reported as often according to her.
My chiropractor understands CH, and it took about a half dozen treatments to stop the last cycle, but the 'cure' has lasted well past the norm for me. In fact, I've only had about fourteen #10's since he began the treatments, while normally I would have had a couple of hundred.
So...with the right acupuncturist and/or the right chiropractor, you will find relief (if that's what you really want.)
