I use to lay on the bed and hang my head off the bed trying to get the blood to rush to my head thinking it would help. I have been known to be on my knees with my butt in the air and head hugging the floor. I have asked my ex to hold my head tight between his hands and squeeze as hard as he could. There were times I said more, he said no he would crush my head. I even tighted a scarf as tight as I could around my head duning a cluster. OK now you guys know how come I am so nutty, no o2 to the brain. At the time I did not care and felt it helped. Let me tell you one more thing. I use to use heat on my head, I would sit on the tolit and run hot water in the sink and put a rag in it, then apply to my head. One day my daughter saw me doing this and wanted to help. She was shocked at how hot the water was. It burned her hands and mine but I never felt it. My face was blister also. I find ice to be lots better. That was in my earlier years, but runing and jumping in a pool has aborted my clusters, or a cold shower, who is to say whats crazy. When your in pain from a cluster I know you don't care about any thing else. But a few things not to do. Don't take to many meds, don't hit your head, don't cut your blood off, don't get around hot water, and if your a man and use 02 watch out for the strap on the mask, or keep your pants on, and most of all don't have a gun in the house :-)!
