The media concentrates on the negative for a good reason. It sells. People buy bad news and ignore the good. News papers blast headlines "Student Kills 25" and sell lots of copy, aka advertisements. If the headlines said "10 Million Students On Honor Roll. Not A Murderer or Dope Freak Among Them" it would be completely ignored by the public.
Newspaper are NOT in the business to give us the news. They're in the business to sell adverti$ing.
Dan Rather and Barbara Walters don't give a crap if we get any news. They and their networks are only in the business to keep people watching between commercial$. Commercial$ pay the multi-million dollar salaries.
Ever notice when the TV anchor says "News at 11". If they have such important news, why don't they just broadcast it at 6? $imple…they want you to set through all the advertising.
Capitalism at it's best. Ain't America great :^)
That's my opinion and I'm sticking with it.
