Ok as you can see I am here able to write this up. I was in chat when it started to get bad. Ok so your wondering if this Maxalt helped. Well its really hard to say.
I took the pill on the onset of a shadown...15 minutes later my head was hurting really really bad. 8 or 9 I would say on the scale. So I started pacing about 20 minutes into it and my chest felt a little weird (maybe I am paranoid from taking the pill). Ok so I'm doing my little push on the temple routine as hard as I can and about 25 minutes into the whole thing the pain gets lighter...and then bam the cluster is gone. So all in all the total real pain lasted about 10 minutes...
Now the thing I am wondering is was this just a short cluster headache...or did the Maxalt work? Im hoping it worked because usually when I get Clusters that are 8-9 they last about 45 minutes...so lets all hope it helped and just wasn't a short cluster.
This was my first attack today (had 3 yesterday) and I am expecting a wakeing attacks...I get these everyday....on good days I will just get the wakeing cluster...on bad days I will get 4 during the day and 2-3 wakeing attacks...it sucks to go to sleep cause I know it will wake me up :(
