Any form of energy production outside of combining pure oxygen with hydrogen or nuclear genrates smoke, depending on where you live, the concentrations can be quite high. You are constantly breathing second hand smoke, vehicle, jet planes, power plants, your home furnace, etc.
Alcohol is a hydro carbon just as fossil fuel products, incomplete combustion leaves plenty of HC's in the air that has the same medical adverse effects, but in lower concenstrations then taking a stiff drink. Enters your blood stream via your lungs with a constant intake. Again the concenstrations very widely from where you live. Worse at a major airport fed by countless interstates.
Our politically correct society loves to pick on the individual sources of smoke and drink but never touches on the constant main issues.
In three short years we developed the A-bomb and in 11 short years harnessed nuclear power, far from perfect, but a start. Any attempts to develop a hydrogen powered car were killed by insane laws and no funding is present for nuclear fusion development.
We prefer war in the Middle East to get our oil. My state has a strong evvironmental group against running a high voltage line up to Candada to get cheap hydro power claiming it is very unsafe. Hell the technology exists to run shield high voltage lines under ground. They insist on building natural gas local plants. Environmental group, my ass, a bunch of crooks trying to control the price of natural gas.
As long as we have this kind of thinking in this country, just keep on smoking and drinking, whether intentional or not. We know that both are harmful to CH sufferers, maybe everyone should experience CH's.
