Hi, by way of an introduction, my name is Larry, I am a 46 yr. old musician, and have suffered from C.H. since I was 28.Man, am I made up to find this site !!
I guess you would call me a chronic ,as the demon never really leaves me alone for long, although I did have a relatively settled 18 months a few years back, when I thought I was over it. Huh !no such luck, it returned with a vengeance and I ended up on beta-blockers, which I dont think help that much, except perhaps to reduce the number and a bit of the severity of the attacks.
It seems to be worse at this time of year, when anything seems to spark it off, alcohol is a definite no-no, as is stress.
Having just returned from a warmer more STABILE climate, I can say I was definately better, but at the end of the day, I just dont bloody know !
It never ceases to amaze me, even after all these years, how a human can survive such incredible [is that the word ?] pain and still carry on.[ sort of !]
I've tried the water treatment, [ thanks Marje, whoever you are,]and found it, quite a bit of help; Although it's damn tough on the bladder old bean ,[ in an English accent ! ha ha !!]
No ,seriously folks, if you have'nt tried it already, then please do so, it really does help.

Right now however, I can feel it ;So....I guess i've been on this stupid machine too long.
