Sounds to me like MSN made itself (your stepmom's addy) the default in Outlook or whatever email prog you use. Go to Tools then Accounts. Find the email addy you want to be your default, highlight it and choose Set as default.
Another option is that Outlook is now your default email program and you prefer to have Hotmail as the default. If this is the case, in Internet Explorer, choose Tools then Internet Options. Select the Programs tab and change the default email prog to your hotmail account.
