had a friend with seizures taking Topamax and even with the side effects was better than having a seizure, particulary when in public.
I experienced the nasty side effects of swollen lips, tongue, and mostly nasal passages, last damn drug I needed for CH's, actually extended the CH cycle, is on my hate list. To me, just yet another hand me down medication that may help some CH sufferers, but you don't know until you try it. I would start off slow and during a period when you can reach your doctor to avoid ER costs if that happens to you. Hell to pay 200 bucks just to learn you have to wait (and suffer) until the drug wears off.
