I did get things a little mixed up. Herpes virus is the cause of shingles, chicken pox, cold sores and of course, herpes.
I'm sure I'm like most people and carry the virus but do not suffer any out breaks. I do have a couple of close in-laws that have suffered a great deal with shingles.
