True narcotics (without asprin, tylonol or ibuprofin have virually no effect on the quality of life or the shortening of a lifespan. This is only true when they are pharmacutical grade of course. They do not harm the brain or organs or get become toxic. Most other common CH meds are very detrimental long term. I could write a small book with the proof. Enough said don't get stuck with pain you can beat. Pain is much more destructive then properly usd narcotics Mike L
