I was on verapimil and valproiec acid, frequent nasal blasts of Imitrex and Oxygen. My MD prescribed Lithium and I was totally freaked. Too many pills. The potential for tremors was such a deciding factor. Can't play drums with tremors. A chap named Victor posted a reply to a Lithium question I asked saying: "Why are you taking all those other meds if they are not working? A new neuro at the time asked me that question, and I couldn't give a good answer, he put me on a 30 day dry out period which was the best treatment I ever got. Learned that I wasn't chronic after that and the O2 worked so much better. " I tried it cold turkey since yesterday. I'm getting shadows but nothing too bad. I took one dose of Imitrex today and so far I feel ok. As for the shrooms, what is considered recreational ? What does MAOIs stand for. This is what I found on the site:" Episodic sufferers typically require a single dose of 1/4 the recreational dose twice a year.
