Shelly - thanks for the feedback. I was reading some information on another section of this site and was wondering if he could suffer from "shadow" headaches between the really bad ones. I might get him to write down exactly what he feels (he is not good with computers, that's why I'm here on his behalf). I'm not aware of any tropical diseases that we have, but that doesn't mean they don't exist - I'll sure be checking out that possibility.Again - thanks for your comments. It's hard seeing the one you love suffer so much and not be able to do anything. Even reading the other messages that have been posted here and talking to Domenic about them, makes me feel that I am helping - if only I could ease some of his pain! Sometimes I press my head against his and try to transfer it to me, even just for a second - he says he would never wish this pain on anyone. Claire
