Thanks for getting back to me - you must be up late (I'm in Australia, not sure of time difference). He does chew gum a lot, but he says that it is because always seems to have a dry mouth. He has no sound when eating or talking, doesn't drink beer or have any known allergies. I will speak to him a bit more about the pain. I do know that he can be fine one minute then doubled over in pain the next - he says it's like being struck by lightning, it then fades back to a shadow type pain. I'll look into the jaw alignment thing, but he has just recently been to the dentist and his teeth are fine.Again, thanks for getting back to me. Claire.
