My name is Mike Stuart. I have never hid my identity. When I first came to this board it was common to use psuedonyms (Sailpappy, Drummer, etc.). With a name like Mike, it would be a constant battle to keep my identity. I saw some complaining about that, so there is my explanation.I'm glad to know that it wasn't you, Jonny, that made that post. I did not think that you would do that. I hope that the person who did it is eventually held responsible.This CH thing has been an amazing trip. Incredible pain, more types of drugs than I knew existed, and my entire life irreversably changed. This board has been a lifesaver. I have become friends with people that I've never met. I suffer your pain, and rejoice with your triumphs. I could read some posts and identify the authors, even with no name attached.I have come to know many of you very well.The Thanksgiving holiday has become passe. We go straight from Halloween to Christmas. I'm glad to see some of you remember what we have to be thankful for, even in the midst of pain. Along the way, my wife and I lost a child. But we have two other children who are doing fine, and four grandchildren who are well. We have a beautiful (small) home so far back in the woods that we cannot even see another house. We have much to be thankful for.I saw Ken Hubner post a message thanking Drummer for saving him from despair. For all of you who were here when I first logged on, and all of you who have joined up since, thank you for saving me. There are many times that I have been at the bottom, with no place to go.
