I have found 2 different e-mails for the good old doctor in this site. Neither of them are any good. Anyone know his active e-mail? I would love you forever....not really, but you know what I mean. Here is the letter I am going to send him.
Dr. Peter J. Goadsby,
I am a twenty-one year old male college student in Houston, TX. I have been a chronic cluster headache sufferer for almost two and a half years now. In my fifth semester I have elected a public speaking class as one of the two classes a semester I am able to take. In this class I am currently working on a fifteen minute speech to persuade fellow students and staff of the North Harris Montgomery Community College District to join O.U.C.H. In the process I intend to educate them on cluster headaches. I am writing you to ask if you would suggest a specific place to obtain the most current information for my research. I have complete access to the Internet, but I am not sure where the most current information would be available. I have gotten word of an article that I might use, it is located in The New England Journal of Medicine Vol.345, No.19, November 8, 2001. The journal carries an article describing a new procedure that may hold great promise: "Stereostatic Stimulation of Posterior Hypothalamic Gray Matter in a Patient with Intractable Cluster Headaches." I would like to get your feedback and any information from you if possible. My professor has told me that she will have a personal friend of hers from the local PBS television station present in the class the day of our presentations. I would find a great honor to be able to put this message out to the public as much as possible. The little friends I have already help me pass out the O.U.C.H. brochures on campus. About medications, I have not found a single one that has had any effect on my pain so far. I am currently seeing Dr. Arana, the head of neurology of the medical branch my insurance is with. I want to help so bad, and I know there's a limit to what I can do. I would be forever grateful if you would please fulfill my small needs. Keep up the good work.
Sincerely,
Josh XXXXXXX
