Cycle that it broke was in '96. Took 960mg for two
years. Came back '98. Absolutely broke the cycle in
'96. Went from 3-5/day to none in a few days.
In '98, went looking for another silver bullet. Found lithium.
Same result. 3-5/day to none in few days.
Came back 01. Found shrooms. Went from 3-5/day to
none after 3rd dose.
Since verap and lithium once broke cycles I'm thinking that
they might have again...but he continued to take them
during the intervening years...and perhaps built a tolerance to their
effects. But, as much as he hates the shroom treatment, who
wouldn't want to take 1 pill, 1 time, and have the cycle be over.
Beats the affects of verap and lithium...he said they
made him feel crazy...but he was taking large doses of each.
At least with the shrooms we know that one doesn't have
to dose until the cycle hits.
