I'm chronic also therefore I'll get right to the point. If you are buying veraprimil over the border then is it possible to find a doc in Mexico that may be able to prescribe you another medication because it really sounds as if Veraprimil is NOT working for you. Have you ever tried Prednisone, lithium, sansert, imitrex, any type of narcotics, lidocaine nasal spray, oxygen, etc.? My theory is if a medication isn't working than why bother to take it....and I've been through many, many medications before I found the right combo that worked for me. Keep trying...yes, I'm fully aware that it is exhausting and frustrating...I've been there done that. Unfortunately the possibility that you (or anyone else on this message board) will live a pain free life is fairly slim there MAY be meds out there that MAY make your pain a little bit more tolerable. I'm on Social Security Disabilty specifically for chronic cluster headaches. Have you ever tried applying for Social Security Disability or Medicaid or any other programs that help people who need meds but cannot afford them? (Yes, sometimes its hard to swallow our pride...I've been there.) Good luck. Don't give up. Sam
