I don't have many attacks at work, and haven't missed work because of them. And even if I did, I doubt my employer would be a problem. I remember one incident that still stands out in my mind...
I was hit with a Kip 9-10 one day at work, so I went in my office, shut the door, turned off the light, and sat under my desk in the dark. (I thought nobody would see me) and literally screamed my lungs out because it hurt so damn bad.
So much for nobody seeing me! My boss came in, he completely freaked out, and decided to call 911. I told him as best as I could at the time that it was a CH attack, and it would end before the EMT people get there... so don't bother with 911. Later, I educated him about CH. (I still work there too).
