I seem to have been completly ignored so ill have one more go ( this totaly helped 2 of us - 2 out of 2 !) Everyone knows to avoid the big triggers -alchohol , chocolate , msg , and caffeine . but - could there be other foods that are triggers during that time of the year ?
the diet plan that really helped us started us on "level 3 " wich was quite strict . avoid everything except : fresh chicken and beef , apples ,pears , celery ,carrots , potatoes, and rice ( comletly non allergenic )
my first thought when i heard of this was it could not possible work for me - my clusters have nothing to do with food , and indeed , there probably is a cause that is still unknown to me . however ,as i said , my headaches are much, much less severe now .
Anyway , after detoxifing for a few weeks on this boring diet , my pain dropped by more than 50% . the next step was to start working other foods back in ( from level 2 )
I guess the idea is that we all have slight allegies to many foods or additives and this along with other things adds to the headaches. the rest of the year i eat whatever i want .an example of a possible allergen : malt ( from barley ) this is in most cereals and of course beer . so i have it in one form or another almost every day . evedently food allergens can form from having the same food items to often .
anyway ill wait to see if anyone even reads this before i go on .
