I've had "the beast" since age 7 - Now 55. I'm on the mend, but only after trying everything on the market.
Cheap stuff that works (helps)
Melatonin - at least 10mg 30min - 1 hour before bed
Tryptophan - also before bed
Cal/Mag/Zinc (with Citrical Base), part of the daily dose before bed
Don't know whether or not this will work for you but - either Lidocaine (spray or ointment) If the ointment, you'll need some long handled wooden cotton tipped applicators to get the stuff up your nostril to the place where the pain starts.
Of course Oxygen works only if used properly.
Most of the Opiates only allow you to cope with the pain, and do little to lessen the discomfort. Imitrex injections and pills didn't work for me. But if you have any questions, please feel free to drop a line.
