Perhaps you wanted a smaller group to bond to..
Perhaps you wanted a more intellectual population..
Perhaps you wanted all serious input..
These things are still here. You just have to sort through the many posts, among the numerous bits of info between friends who found each other here during their time of dire need. Thank your Higher Power for that. What if they hadn't found us? Would they perhaps have found Death by Pain?
Many of us see this place as what ever one needs at any given moment. I have seen oldies gripe about the space taken up by nonsense, only to adhere to a thread of nonsense if led by an old friend of theirs. So, what's the point?
We have a pretty diverse and not too small population now. Newbies can still find info and compassion in a heartbeat. Look at all of the new ones making friends and joining in.
There's no reason not to stick. The same cause still needs every one of us, and much more.
It's been said right here, over and over, "Take what you can use and leave the rest behind", and "only click on the post if it appeals to you." What's so hard about that?
