DJ came up with the imitrex tip! The best gift he ever gave me. I do not think the imitrex has any thing to do with the pain increasing nor does how much you take. I do know that when I use a whole shot it works faster. But I hate the tightness in my throat I get and all. When I use 1/3 I don't get that tightness and it does take longer for it to work. But its cheaper and I can treat six clusters instead of two with one kit. I think it depends on when you take the imitrex. I take it before I get to hurtting bad, and don't hurt very long at all any more. Its the same with the imitrex tabs. The sooner you take them the faster it works and the less pain you are in. All my clusters are high in pain each and every time. I know if I wake up with one its to late I am going to hurt longer cause I did not get to the imitrex in time.
Todd takes the tabs and I have heard him say a hundred times the trick is when you take them!
I don't think I could stand life with out imitrex now :-)!
