Hey there everybody,
been a long time since I had as rough a night as last night. Had some stuff the pain mgmt doc gave me to help me sleep, but I wake up groggy from it and feeling like I havent slept, so I quit it a few days ago. Last night was evil. Pure, simple, hellish, evil. Got nailed early in the night about 7pm-ish with a spike that went from 0-9 in about 5 seconds. Put me on the floor. Took an Axert pill for it, about 20 min later I was doing better. About 11pm, I got nailed again, not as bad, only made it to about a 7. Wore off about 12:30, got to sleep about 1. 3am wakes me up with another one, quick spikes to 8 for a good ten fifteen minutes, and then it goes away on its own. 6:30 wakes me up with spikes to 9 again--managed to get out and get the morning dose of Oxycontin before it put me on the floor for a solid half-hour of head pounding. Managed to get about another 45 minutes of sleep since then, for a total of about 5 1/2 hours of broken sleep. Evil damned night.
Hoping for a little bit of freedom from the pain today, want to go get a few skydives in and try to enjoy myself. Here's hoping for the best.
