by counting the number of electrically driven cooling fans like the ones in your computer, motor vehicle, applicances, lab/office equipment, and HVAC systems that have to be periodically cleaned and lubricated. I counted 86 such fans in my environment. Recently I just cleaned the half dozen or so computers in my home office, the filth really builds up on the heat sinks resulting in overheating. I think PC stands for Poor Cooling. I recently installed an air purifier, without thinking, now I have yet another fan to clean and lubricate. Think the computers were doing a great job of cleaning the dust from the air.
