Those UK clusterheads have Docs Goadsby and Matharu and their research to participate in. I can't find anything like it in the US! I even asked Mathrau if he know of any and struck out again. He did have some nice words for OUCH (US and UK) so I'll share those with you:

Thank you for your kind words. All the research we are able to do is mainly
credit to the cluster hedache sufferers who over the years have supported
our research efforts, often with considerable sacrifices on their part.
I am not aware of any group in the USA who are doing the kind of studies
that we are currently performing ( most of which are geared towards
understanding the basis of this devastating condition). Most of the Headache
Groups I've had any contact with do some studies (mainly drug studies) but
only in their own patients. If any group is interested in doing some
studies, I'll certainly put them in touch with you.
Also, may I take the opportunity to thank both OUCH-USA and OUCH-UK for the
tremendous job you are doing. I can certainly speak wuith some authority
when I say that the majority of patients who have had dealings with OUCH-UK
are very greatful for the support that they have been providing. Well done
and keep up the Good Job.
