All I have tried to get across is this is an idividual decision, we are all unique..Yes their is Bad and Good with all medications...Why do you think they put the HUGE PDR index in the pharmacy medicine bottles...(if your lucky you will see one) LOL...and publish new PDR'S each year..
I have from day one tried to make people aware that sometimes Narcotics are a good thing despite the side effects etc..AND THEIR ARE BAD ONES...But when used responsibly they can help to make people lives a little more tolerable with intolerable pain.. Yes some people abuse them..and will go through any means possible in obtaining them...This ISN'T what I am talking about...And yes their is a BIG difference between dependence and addiction...
Thank you for the kind words...I don't look down on the people who choose not to take the narcotics etc...and I don't look up to those who do...All I have asked is that this be a topic to be discussed as adults without labeling people as "addict" etc.. for using narcotic's ..
This is a very personal and individual choice that we each need to make...That is why it is vital to educate yourself on ALL medications, make informed decisions, be responsible with your medications, be honest with your doc's..this is especially important with a person who has multiple physician's..THEY SHOULD ALL BE INFORMED OF WHAT THE OTHER IS PRESCRIBING etc..Eg: sending the physician's notes to each other etc..
