I just came back from Clusterbuds (Family Suport Team). com and read some mail that our supporters had sent out in answer to questions and requests for support from supporters in need.
If you haven't been a part of this type of service, you have no clue, but let me tell you that I am so proud, full of warmth and so happy with what OUCH is doing.
I am proud to be a member and wish to my Higher Power that I knew what stops others from wanting to be one too.
We bitch and complain and threaten because we are in such unbelieveable pain. How can we ever ever ever get noticed, get funded, get help if we don't unite? If we don't support a group? Are we going to do anything as individuals? Please.
The candidates running for election (voting ends the end of this month-just a couple of days away) are people we all know, either directly or indirectly. They've presented resumes. It just isn't hard to vote.
So let's put the people we feel are most likely to further the growth and expansion of OUCH in a business like and professional manner into office. We have a voice in who runs this show. Let your voice be heard!
