you've had a tough time. Barb, don’t rely exclusively on email. It’s almost never read. My Congressman has said so many times. Letters are always read. Even with Anthrax, our mail will get opened. Email is easy but they get too much to handle. Trust me on this one. The reason we don’t have a lot of smallpox vaccine is that it was eradicated but for laboratory purposes. There was no need for it. We were confident that this couldn’t happen here. Dubya and Congress have no choice but to go after these bastards. It will be messy and we'll get hit again. Suddenly, we have to deal with the rest of the world. This is good. We've spent all our time, training, and preparing for huge external threats. Even our forces have to improvise for this new kind of war. Congress and Bush are having a tough time with this. They have little experience with this. I think we’ll eventually get it right but they have a lot to learn, as do we. There are a lot of them I’d like to see replaced. If they don’t carry the ball, they will be. They no longer can get away with screaming about family values, trying to scare the crap out of us, and blaming us for all that’s wrong. Give them a hard time anyway. It keeps them awake.I agree with some of what you say Barb, and things have gotten very complicated. The world has intruded on our turf and it’s damned unsettling. Hell, email away. Maybe some of them will get your message. Keep up your passion as well. OUCH and company need you.Charlie
