David...Elaine is a wise woman and made some good points. My husband is chronic for 10 years plus....life isn't always easy but you just have to keep after it. Perhaps it would help your wife to check this site out and educate herself as much as possible....if she hasn't done so already that is. There is also "support for the supporters" on the OUCH site. Also, talking to others that know how it is can also help. Please....tell you wife to e-mail me anytime. It's best to fight the beast together....their is safety in numbers. Good Luck....Jackie
